The Acts of Andrew
Anonymous
Read elsewhere
What it is
The preaching, imprisonment, and crucifixion of Andrew in Patras, framed by long speeches urging converts to withdraw from marriage and the body.
Why it lasted
The most philosophically ascetic of the apocryphal Acts, and the origin of Andrew's association with a distinctive cross.
Where to read it
Public domain and free to read in full, though not held here. The archives below have it.
These open a search on each archive rather than a direct link, which is the honest way to point at an edition nobody here has checked line by line.
