Privacy

Draft. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It accurately describes what the service stores today and should be checked by qualified counsel before launch.

Short version: we store the minimum needed to run accounts and count free downloads. We do not sell anything about you, and there is no advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.

What we collect

• Your account — email address, the name you give us if you give one, your plan, and whether you are an administrator.
• Download records — which artwork you downloaded and when. This exists to enforce the free tier’s five a month, and is only recorded for downloads that count against it.
• Reading preferences — text size and typeface. These are kept in your browser, not on our servers.
• Payment records — handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, never your card number.

We do not ask for a postal address, a phone number, or a date of birth, because nothing here needs them.

Why we hold it

To sign you in, to apply the plan you are on, to count free downloads fairly, and to take payment. That is the whole list.

Who else sees it

• Supabase — hosts the database and handles authentication.
• Hostinger — runs the site and delivers the one-time codes used to sign in to the admin panel.
• Cloudflare — stores and serves the artwork files.
• Stripe — processes payments.

Each is a processor acting on our instructions. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, and we share it otherwise only where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and, for administrators, to carry a short-lived sign-in step. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as you have an account. Download records are kept to make the monthly count work and are not retained indefinitely. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Deleting your account removes your profile and download history. Write to admin@aiforbible.com and we will act within the period the law allows.

Children

This service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Security

Access to your data is enforced at the database, not only in the interface. Passwords are handled by Supabase and never reach our code. The administrator panel requires two separate factors. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected users promptly if something goes wrong.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. See also our terms and licence.
