Every artwork on AI For Bible is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0). That is a standard, well-understood licence, and the link above is the authoritative text — what follows is a plain summary, not a replacement for it.

What you may do

Use the artwork in sermons, slides, bulletins, lesson materials, social posts, and printed matter. Adapt it — crop it, colour-correct it, place it in a layout. Share it. None of that requires asking us.

Two conditions

• Attribution. Credit aiforbible.com where it is reasonable to do so — a slide footer, a credits page, a caption. On a projected slide in a service, nobody expects a citation block; on a published article, they do.
• Non-commercial. You may not use the artwork primarily for commercial advantage or monetary compensation.

Where the line falls

“Non-commercial” is the condition people ask about most, so to be concrete about the ordinary cases:

• A church using artwork in its services, website, and social media — yes, including a church that takes an offering.
• A teacher or seminary using it in course materials — yes.
• A free devotional app or newsletter — yes.
• Merchandise, prints, or stock imagery sold for money — no.
• A paid product where the artwork is part of what the customer is buying — no.

If your case sits between those, ask us before publishing rather than after. We would rather answer a question than send a takedown.

Watermarks

Free downloads carry a watermark. Removing, cropping out, or editing around it is not permitted under any tier — if you need an unmarked file, that is what the paid plans provide.

How the images are made

The artwork is AI-generated and scripture-tagged. It is illustrative, not historical or archaeological reconstruction, and it is not a substitute for the text it accompanies.

Commercial licensing

CC BY-NC 4.0 governs what is offered on this site. If you need commercial rights, contact us and we will discuss terms — the licence here does not grant them, and no plan on the pricing page changes that.
