A defence of the resurrection of the body in its full physicality against those who would spiritualise it, arguing that flesh is the hinge of salvation.

Why it lasted

The classic patristic statement that Christian hope is bodily, and a standing rebuke to every later attempt to reduce it to the immortality of the soul.
