What it is
The Summa contra Gentiles and much of the Summa Theologiae rendered into Greek by a statesman who began learning Latin to read them.
Why it lasted
It opened a Byzantine Thomism, converted its translator to the Latin church, and gave the Greek East its first real access to scholastic theology.
