What it is
A polemic against Judaism written by a friar who read Hebrew and Aramaic fluently, quoting the Talmud and Midrash at length to argue Christian claims from Jewish sources.
Why it lasted
Included because it must be known: the most learned and therefore most damaging medieval attack on Judaism, and the template for centuries of forced disputations.
