The correspondence and preaching of the greatest Miaphysite theologian, surviving almost entirely in Syriac translation after the Greek was destroyed.
Why it lasted
The theological foundation of the Syriac and Coptic Orthodox churches, and the fullest statement of a christology that rejects Chalcedon without being Eutychian.
