What it is
A former priest sets out a peaceable Anabaptism after the catastrophe at Münster — believers' baptism, discipleship, non-resistance, and separation from violence.
Why it lasted
It gathered the scattered Dutch Anabaptists into what became the Mennonite churches, and rescued the movement from its most violent episode.
