What it is
Jesus laughs at the disciples for giving thanks over bread and takes Judas aside as the only one who can bear to hear the truth. Judas will exceed them all — by handing over the man who clothes him.
Why it lasted
Denounced by Irenaeus around 180 and then lost until a Coptic copy surfaced in the 1970s and was published in 2006. The one ancient text that makes the betrayal an act of obedience.
