What it is

Peter writes to summon Philip back, the apostles gather on the Mount of Olives, and a voice out of a great light answers their questions about the deficiency of the aeons and the suffering they must expect. Then they go down to Jerusalem and heal.

Why it lasted

A gnostic text that ends with the apostles preaching, healing, and acting as a united college — closer to Acts in shape than anything else in the library, and evidence that the boundary was porous.

Where to read it

Public domain and free to read in full, though not held here. The archives below have it.

These open a search on each archive rather than a direct link, which is the honest way to point at an edition nobody here has checked line by line.
