Now Thank We All Our God
Nun danket alle Gott
Martin Rinkart · 1586–1649
What it is

Why it lasted
Sung at national thanksgivings ever since by people mostly unaware it was composed in the middle of a plague and a siege.
Where to read it

These open a search on each archive rather than a direct link, which is the honest way to point at an edition nobody here has checked line by line.
