What it is
A catechism written to answer Lucaris and to arm Orthodox clergy in Poland-Lithuania against Catholic and Protestant argument, structured like a Western catechism.
Why it lasted
The most widely used Orthodox catechism for two centuries, and much criticised since for how much Latin scholastic framework it absorbed.
