The Testament of Solomon

And I, having worshipped the God of Israel, commanded another demon to come forth. And a three-headed dragon of terrifying color came before me.

And I asked him, “Who are you?” And he said, “I am a triple-horned spirit, working in three ways. In the wombs of women, I blind children and twist their ears and make them mute and deaf, and I strike people on their bodies and make them fall down, foam at the mouth, and gnash their teeth.”

“And I have a manner in which I am rendered inactive by the designated place of the skull, for there an angel of the great counsel predetermined me to suffer, and now he will openly dwell upon wood. That one will render me inactive in that by which I am subject.”

“And in the place where it was lifted, King Solomon, he will set up a purple pillar in the air, a gift formed by Ephippas, brought from the Red Sea, from inner Arabia. And at the beginning of the temple which you have begun to build, King Solomon, much gold is stored up, which you should dig up and take.”

And I, Solomon, having sent my servant, found as the demon told me, and having sealed it with the ring, I praised God.

Then I said to him, “Tell me what you are called.” And the demon said, “Head of Dragons.” And I commanded him to make bricks for the temple of God.
