And again I said to it, “Go, bring me the pillar you spoke of in the Red Sea.” And Ephippas went and brought up the demon and the pillar, both carrying them from Arabia.
And I, having wisely understood that these two spirits could shake the whole inhabited world in a single moment, sealed them on both sides with the ring and said, “Guard them carefully.”
And they remained holding the pillar in the air until today as proof of the wisdom given to me.
And the pillar was hanging, exceedingly large, through the air, being held by the spirits, and thus from below the spirits appeared like air holding it.
And as we gazed, the base of the pillar became askew, and it remains so until today.
