And again I asked that other demons come, and a demon was brought to me, a man in all his limbs, but headless.
And I said to him, “Tell me who you are, and how you are called?” And the demon said, “I am called Murder. For I devour heads, wishing to make a head for myself, and I am not satisfied. I desire to make a head like yours, O King.”
Having heard these things, I sealed him, stretching out my hand against his chest. And the demon jumped up and tore himself apart and grumbled, saying, “Woe is me! Where did I find the traitor Ornēas? I do not see.”
And I said to him, “And from where do you see?” And he said, “Through my breasts.”
And I, Solomon, having heard the pleasure of his voice and wishing to learn, asked him, “From where do you speak?” And he said, “My voice has inherited the voices of many people. For as many as are called mute among men, I have shut up their heads. When children are ten days old, then at night, when the child cries, I become a spirit and enter through the voice.”
In untimely deaths, my encounter is more harmful. And my power is in my hands, and taking heads with my hands as if with wood, I cut them off and add them to myself, and thus I consume them through the neck by the fire that is within me. I am the one who burns the limbs and sends them to the feet and causes ulcers.
And by the fiery lightning, I am rendered inactive.
And I commanded him to be with Beelzeboul until this friend also arrives.
