Second Baruch

Nevertheless, I will ask you again, O Mighty One,

and I will ask mercy from him who made all things:

In what form will they live, those who live in your day?

Or how will their splendor abide thereafter?

Will they then receive this present form,

and put on these bound members,

which are now in evil things and by which evil things are accomplished?

Or will you perhaps transform those who have been in the world,

just as also the world?
