Second Baruch

And the third black waters which you saw:

this is the mixture of all the sins

which the nations afterward committed,

after the death of those righteous ones,

and the wickedness

of the land

of Egypt, who acted wickedly

in the servitude with which they enslaved their sons.

Yet they also perished

in the end.
