English, translated by Online Critical Pseudepigrapha — Online Critical Pseudepigrapha, English of the critical text
And the fourth bright waters which you saw:
this is the coming of Moses and of Aaron
and of Miriam,
and of Joshua son of Nun, and of Caleb,
and of all those who are like them.
For at that time the lamp of the eternal law
shone
upon all those who were sitting
were
in darkness,
to make known to those who believe
the promise
of their reward,
and to those who deny, the torment of fire which is reserved for them.
Moreover, the heavens also at that time were shaken from their place,
and the things under the throne of the Mighty One were moved,
when he held Moses with him.
For he showed him many splendors, together with the ways
of the laws
and the end
of the times,
even as also to you;
and furthermore the likeness
of Zion
and its measurements,
which was to be made,
and the pattern
of the house
of the sanctuary
of the present time.
Moreover, also at that time
he showed him
the measurements of the fire,
and the depths of the abyss,
and the weight of the winds,
and the number of the drops of rain,
and the restraint of wrath,
and the abundance
of longsuffering,
and the truth of judgment,
and the root of wisdom,
and the riches of understanding,
and the fountain of knowledge,
and the height of the air,
and the greatness of Paradise,
and the consummation of the ages,
and the beginning of the Day of Judgment,
and the number of the offerings,
and the worlds which have not yet come,
and the mouth of Gehenna,
and the station of vengeance,
and the place of faith,
and the region of hope.
And the likeness
of the torment to come,
and the multitude
of angels without number,
and the hosts
of flame,
and the brilliance of the lightnings,
and the voice of the thunders,
and the ranks
of the chiefs
of the angels,
and the treasuries of light,
and the changes of the times,
and the investigations of the Law.
These are the waters,
the fourth
and bright, which you saw.
